Reggie K Jackson – Stand-Up Comedian
THE ORIGIN STORY
Born in Virginia but built in Atlanta, Reggie K Jackson has spent the last 20 years carving out a one-of-a-kind voice in comedy — blending slow Southern storytelling with an urban edge that keeps audiences laughing from the first punchline to the last callback. A self-described "country white girl adopted by the Black community," Reggie has turned authenticity into a career that's taken her from neighborhood comedy rooms to international stages.
Reggie's comedy journey started at the legendary Atlanta open mic scene at Twisted Taco. Within her very first year in stand-up, she landed an opportunity to work with the Wayans Family on a television pilot. She then joined improv group "Call Me Up," performing at the Essence Festival, The Neighborhood Awards with Steve Harvey, and entertaining crowds in Nassau, Cancun, Jamaica, and Key West.
Universoul Circus handpicked Reggie to host its nationally known show — making her the first and only white woman to host the circus in its 30-year history. During her two-and-a-half-year run, she performed thousands of shows in front of millions of people, partnered with McDonald's, and appeared on Good Morning America.
She has shared stages with Kenan Thompson, Rickey Smiley, Clayton English, Carl Payne, and Kountry Wayne. She hosted the podcast "Table Talk" for three years and her most recent comedy special, "High As My Hair," showcases the raw storytelling and hilarious real-life experiences that have become her signature style.
A staple of the Atlanta comedy scene for two decades, Reggie has performed at Laughing Skull Lounge, Helium Comedy Club, City Winery Atlanta, and more. Her ultimate goal? A Food Network or Travel Channel series — and eventually that Netflix special. The jokes are already ready.
